Alex Horovitz

In his capacity as Chief Technology Officer of The Brookeside Group, Alex Horovitz created the web based EnAct™ Loyalty Management Solution.  Alex is a creative and analytical technologist.  He brings a strong aesthetic sense coupled with rich conceptual thinking abilities to his work at Brookeside.

In addition to his work at Brookeside, Alex is a recognized expert in the area of Software Engineering.  He has recently authored the O'Reilly Media book, Programming .NET 3.5.  Alex also makes presentations at technical conferences on software engineering with a focus on the value of the Model-View-Controller design pattern.

Prior to the launch of Brookeside, Alex was a Software Engineering Manager at Apple, Inc.  Previous to Apple, Alex was a software engineer at NeXT Computer where he was on the original WebObjects application server team.  Before NeXT, Alex worked on Classification and Regression Tree and Multinomial Logistic Regression software at Salford Systems.
