Organizational StorytellingEvery single day of our lives, we tell stories. To our friends, our co-workers, our kids, even the stranger standing next to us in the checkout line. Some are important, some aren't. Some are memorable, most are not. Some have the ability to inspire and motivate, while others can cause our listeners to tune out, or worse yet, turn against us. We tell stories everyday, and they have an effect. The question is: Do they have the effect we want? The interactions you have with your clients and customers WILL impact their Loyalty. (We can prove it!) It is critical, therefore, that you are aware of the elements that effect Loyal behavior and incorporate them into every one of your interactions. You may think you are delivering the story they want to hear, but do you know for certain? And do you know if the effect of that interaction will be a one-time sale or the foundation for a long-term, Loyal relationship? |
